Are poets born or made? This is a puzzle that would take the likes of legendary Nigerian poets Wole Soyinka, J.P. Clark, Niyi Osundare, Christopher Okigbo, Okinba Launko aka Femi Osofisan and new breed fire brands like Dike Chukwumerije to unravel. In the bustling confines of the University of Lagos is a budding poet whose place is assured (in our opinion) among the greats. Currently a 300 Level English student, this young lad of Abia State origin, has the gift of the pen or more appropriately, the gift of the keypad/keyboard, as he also plays the piano. His name is Jude Uchella. We have been savouring his offerings on Facebook and NewsPlus got his permission to feature some of them in Artscope. Enjoy.
